Southern California on Fire

No doubt many of you have heard about the wildfires we’ve been having here.  In case you’ve been in a cave the past week, more than 200,000 acres have been burned and over 250,000 people have been forced to evacuate their homes in the LA, San Diego and Santa Barbara areas.  Thankfully, we are not among the 250,000 as we are more centrally located.  We visited some friends of ours in Canyon Country (where one of the fires is) over the weekend.  The sky was surreal as you can see from the pictures below – one of those neither day nor night days.  Driving in, it looked like there was a tornado in the distance.
