A friend of ours currently has possession of this painting but is willing to part with it for the Buy It Now price of $10,000. We feel this is much to low for this brilliant piece by a first-time artist. While still new in the artworld, this young man has shown promise with his first work using simply pen and ink
You can read the email from our friend:
Hi Chad/Hi Susanna,
I’m not sure if you guys are into art or paintings,
but I thought you might be interested in this piece of
art. This guy isn’t well known YET, but this is his
first painting. I don’t usually sell art. Most of
the time I just sell high end home audio equipment.
Please view the attached and let me know if you might
be interested in purchasing this.
If you want, I will sell it to you guys for a Buy It
Now price of $10,000.00. If you guys aren’t
interested in it, then that’s fine too. It’s no
problem. I’ll just list it on Ebay tomorrow night.
Please let me know if you’re interested. Thanks.

It’s the next best thing to being there!
Our technical issues have been resolved. You may need to refresh your browser or delete your temporary internet files if you are still seeing picture fragments. Many browsers store web pages so you don’t have to download every time but this keeps the old corrupt files appearing everytime.
Unfortunately, our web host has completely fubared our site with their so-called new and improved platform. I estimate it will take a week to fix this. Please come back then.
The last time we saw Harrison Ford as the thrill-seeking archaeologist Indiana Jones was 19 years ago when he donned on his signature fedora in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
The trailer for the May 22 release has drawn highly enthusiastic responses in theaters. But the biggest impact is online. Paramount estimates the trailer was seen more than 200 million times worldwide in the first week alone.
It is about time that I wrote about the wonderful thanksgiving we had at my sister’s house. We officially celebrated thanksgiving the day after because mom and dad were flying in on the day itself. This was the first time in a long time that the entire family got together for thanksgiving. We also had the honor of having my cousins Jeb and Becky there.
Of course, it goes without saying that we ate well.
The spread included turkey and stuffing, ham, mashed potatoes with gravy, green bean casserole, pistachio salad, candied yams, and many other fantastic sides too numerous to list. We also ended the evening well with apple pie from my sister, pecan pie from my mom and Susanna’s first time ever making pumpkin pie.
And Susanna treated us to some quiche on Thanksgiving day.
Other highlights would have to be playing foosball, party games and good conversation with all. I also enjoyed watching Elisha play with his cousins.
Together for the first time - Lucas, Liza and Elisha
Don’t sit on me!
Elisha getting acquainted with his Aunt Rachel.
Elisha reaching new heights with his Grandpa Vince.
Dad and cousin Jeb watching Mom and cousin Becky getting ready to “Guessture”.
Scott and Liza
Dad and Elisha at Utah mall for some last minute shopping.
Elisha was in toy heaven when we took him to see his Aunt Rachel, Uncle Scott and cousins for the first time during Thanksgiving. It was a long drive to South Weber, Utah (about 30 mins north of Salt Lake City). It took us about 12 hours each way. But thankfully, we broke up the long trip with a stopover in Cedar City, Utah.
Hmm … this is intriguing!
It’s camping time!
I wonder what happens if I spin this . . .
Elisha and Lucas making music on the “meow” keyboard.
Gosh, realized that we’ve got all these pictures of Elisha that we need to put up. It’s been a long time since our last posting. Ok, this one was taken way back in mid-Nov. I decided one day to take him to Griffith Park. It’s a beautiful park and Chad and I used to go hiking there all the time. Unfortunately, 800 acres of this historic park was burned back in May and a great number of the trails have been closed until further notice. Apparently, the cause of the fire was started by a homeless man who fell asleep while smoking in the park. Sigh! One man’s reckless action cost the enjoyment of many people.
We love shopping at Costco especially the great deals we can find there. A costco membership sure comes in handy now that we have a baby. And it’s awesome to be able to buy diapers, wipes and formula in bulk when we go through them so fast.
